The company SOR Libchavy spol. s.r.o. in 2018 delivered 21 BN 9.5 city diesel buses and 6 BN 10.5 buses in emission class EURO 6 for Patnicheski prevozi” EOOD Sliven.
As part of the operational program “Environment” 2014-2020, several competitions have been announced with the aim of improving the air in the city of Sliven. Due to the covid complications in the years 2019-2022, the implementation period has been extended for some projects.
SOR Libchavy has succeeded in the following two competitions, which are being implemented in the 3rd and 4th Q. of 2023.
Delivery of 4 EBN 9.5 electric buses
This delivery is carried out on the basis of the victory in the competition “Purchase and delivery of electric buses and their charging stations” within the project “Measures to solve traffic as a source of air pollution in the municipality of Sliven”, which is implemented with the financial support of the operational program “Environment”.
The project also includes the delivery and installation of 4 slow charging stations and 2 cable fast charging stations. The electric buses have a range of approx. 150 to 200 km per charge and are equipped with air conditioning, a camera and an information system as specified by the customer. The electric buses are similar to the previously delivered diesel buses, in the color combination of white and blue.
Delivery of 6 TNS 12 trolleybuses
The supply of six TNS 12 type trolleybuses is currently carried out on the basis of a similar competition to electric buses called “Purchase and delivery of trolleybuses” within the project “Measures to solve traffic as a source of air pollution in the village of Sliven”, which is also carried out with the financial support of the Operational “Environment” programme.
For trolleybuses, there was no battery requirement for autonomous driving. The 12 m long trolleybuses are equipped with air conditioning, a camera and information system and an atypical color combination of blue and orange.
Transport enterprise Sliven (Patnicheski prevozi” EOOD Sliven) will continue to purchase new transport equipment with the aim of improving the level of passenger transport and also improving the environment in the years 2023 to 2027.
